Housing Appreciation Rates


The Seattle metropolitan region led all other regions in the most recent 12-month period with an housing appreciation rate of 10.42 percent; Pittsburgh ranked seventh-lowest at 6.23 percent, below the benchmark average of 7.3 percent. Pittsburgh’s ten-year appreciation rate, however, was the sixth-highest of all benchmark regions at 31.64 percent.
